Sorry for the lack of recent posts. If you are one of the individuals who uses the Homebrew Channel on your Wii (to play perfectly legal mini-games, of course), you may have been shocked to hear that the latest update completely disables all fakeIOS’s. Which means, no homebrew.
Never fear! Clint is here with the solution! a Wii Shop and IOS51 installer has been created. What this does is:
- Downloads the latest update
- Takes out all the bad stuff
- Gives you the good stuff (as in, lets you use the Wii Shop Channel)
So your homebrew is saved! You can get the Homebrew App here.
To use this app, you’ll have to have a way to run a .dol file. The most popular method is the Wii Homebrew Channel, which you can also find on Wiibrew.org.
